Customer Service Agent
The Customer Service Agent provides an unparalleled customer experience by ensuring that every order is handled with the utmost diligence. The candidate must attach great importance to the quality of exchanges with customers and ensure that orders are placed, received and invoiced accurately and quickly. The Customer Service Agent reports to the Planning & Distribution Manager. He will be responsible for providing a top-notch customer experience and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment. The Customer Service Agent will need to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with representatives, customers and the entire Labsurface team.
Start Date: Immediately
Status: Permanent, Full-Time
Schedule: 40 hours, Monday to Friday
Location: Mascouche (5 minutes from the Mascouche train station)
Main functions
- Process each received order with the utmost precision (in the ERP system);
- Provide customers an order confirmation promptly after receiving the PO;
- Fulfill the installer and distributor customers orders (receiving purchase orders, confirming stock, sending delivery or pick-up details, handling questions with the customers, updating order status );
- Be accurate with estimated delivery dates;
- Order invoicing;
- With the collaboration of the Planning & Distribution Manager, establish order priorities and manage the high volume of requests;
- Communicate directly with the customer to resolve problems, clarify order requirements and ensure product delivery;
- Follow up proactively with customers;
- Participate in ongoing discussions with the sales representative team;
- Maintain a high customer satisfaction rate.
- Participating in the continuous improvement of the department’s procedures;
- All other related and requested tasks
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or one or more professional certifications (for example in Customer Service or Supply Chain or experience in the field);
- At least 3 years of experience in Customer Service or sales support, an asset;
- Experience working with ERPs;
- Fully oral and written communication skills in English;
- Fully oral and written communication skills in French
- Knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing sector, more specifically “batch manufacturing”;
- Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel and Outlook;
- Ability to work in an environment where many departments collaborate, at different levels;
- Strong organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Excellent sense of organization and ability to meet high volume of requests;
- Able to work under pressure.

* The bilingual requirement for this position is due to the fact that the person will have to collaborate and exchange with customers across Canada and the United States. *
Salary: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
